GOOD vs NOT SO GOOD
TRACK DAY GOOD
- Be willing to listen and learn
- Be honest about your ability
- Riding in a group that's too slow/fast for you will ruin your day
- Build you pace gradually
- Warm up your tires
- Warm your body/brain
- Look at a map of the circuit before riding it
- Fill your tank before you arrive
- Relax and enjoy yourself
TRACK DAY NOT SO GOOD
- Treat it as a race
- Don't drink the night before
- Try and set a lap record in your first session
- Ignore flags or signals
- Act aggressively towards other riders
- Apex too early
- Crack the gas open at full lean in an attempt to reel-in another rider
- Take advice too literally
NEVER CONFUSE INTENTION AND ABILITY
